Discovering a New Career Choice
From late 2016 to early 2017, I spent a lot of time exploring the editing software, putting together little music videos using songs I liked and films I loved. After a few months, I knew it was more than just a hobby and that it was time to treat it that way.
2016
INSTALLING PREMIERE PRO
Untrained
In late 2016, I borrowed an early version of Adobe Premiere Pro from a friend to edit a personal project. As time began to fly by, I realized this was my real passion. The one I needed to live for.
2017
SORTING OUT MY PRIORITIES
Part-Time vs. Passion
In mid-2017, I decided it was time for me to take a step back from my part-time job in order to pursue a career. Not just in anything, but in something I was actually interested in doing. I decided to start taking classes.
2017-2018
McFATTER TECHNICAL COLLEGE
A Yearlong Course
After I took a step back from my job in mid-2017, I looked for schools that would be able to teach me the software in great depth, and none came as close as McFatter's Television Production Program.
2018-
ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CERTIFIED
Passing The ACA Exam
After studying for nearly a full year, I am able to call myself an, 'Adobe Certified Associate', and soon I will be able to tell people that I have a Certificate in 'Television Production'.
